The most wonderful time of the year is coming in just few days. My gifts are already wrapped and sitting nicely under the Christmas tree. I'm celebrating Christmas here with my sister's family at the Land Down Under and it's my very first time to experience how they celebrate it here. I know it's also good.
The last couple of days are spent going through the shops hunting for the perfect gifts. Although I have brought some gifts with me already when I flew here last November, I can't help but to scour the racks for more good finds. There are many great items to choose from and I have to say that I almost buy another gift for my niece who loves music and is actually taking music at the university. Upon seeing recorders for sale, I thought that I must have been a perfect Christmas gift for her but I already have something for her that she can also use (hopefully).
There are few more days left and I know there are still some people who are on a shopping rush this year. It's fun shopping for ourselves and for our loved ones. Nothing can beat Christmas always.

Addressing my Health Issues
Oh dear.. what a year it has been... It's been good and bad apparently. I have issues with my health mid August and have been addressing it uo to now. It's nothing fatal or so serious about it though but I still need to make myself healthy and fit because it is hindering me from doing some works.
I have been diagnosed with Complicated Migraine and Positional Vertigo which are scary when they both come together.. yay. Right now I have been taking medicines and slowly recovering and hopefully they will not come back anymore.
My doctors are pretty good and as a matter of fact I have a scheduled follow-up at my Neurologist later this afternoon.

Gifted One
My bestfriend's kids are growing up so fast. The 2 girls are in their college levels taking up courses that they love. Wished they will be successful in the fields that they choose. The little boy on the other hand is Grade 6 already and will soon enter Grade 7 coming school year.
My always boasts about him for being so talented at school and at their church. Often times a member of the church choir singing and even wanting to play a guitar. Ahh for sure he''ll bug her parents to buy an acoustic guitar or even one of those telecaster style guitars if he'd get professional. He's been a gifted one anyway, so I see no reason why his parents will not support his musical talent.
It's always nice to see kids who has hobbies for they can express their creativity and feelings through that. We should always encourage them to learn new things.

Teens of PBB
I always love reality tv shows and with that Pinoy Big Brother, our local version is not to be missed. This new season started dubbed as PBB 737 wherein teens will stay for 7 weeks inside the house. I'm not used to watching the teens version but since of my friend's daughter is inside, I have to watch it. YLONA is talented 13 year old girl from Australia with Pinoy parents that can sing really well. I often watched her on you tube singing when her mom posts and I can see that she has real talent.
It is said that she is the teen version of Ariana Grande. She can sing well and for sure with b3 organ and other nice musical instruments she can deliver well. Ahhh.. I know she'll be a singer one day and a star! yey!

Doing What you Love
It's always been said that when you love what you are doing, you'll have not regard it as a chore or even a job. When you love what you do, you'll be passionate about it and will do anything to make it perfect and it will become your habit without exerting much effort. You'll always be happy doing it when put your heart and mind into it. Much like if you are into sport, music or arts.
Playing a musical instrument is no joke, you need to like practice and learn to love any instrument that you choose. Practice always makes perfect as they say. These days, getting supplies and other stuff is easier now for there are already online shops that sells instruments, muff fuzz and more. Getting your hands into something new requires practice and dedication, so if you want to learn an instrument, enrolling in a class is better. Just in case, fees are high then self practice can be done as well.

House Renovation
It's summer time here in our part of the world and also school break for the students. It's also the perfect time to do house renovations and all. Just last week, my brother's house was under renovation and it appears that it will take 2 months for it to be finished.
Second floor is on its way and it will have 2 rooms where in my nephew and niece will use since they are growing pretty fast. It's such a relief because they will not share a room anymore and each one can have their one space. The old room will become a study room for them that will have their computers and other stuff. I'm sure before the new school year starts their new room will be finished already. I hope their study room will have 2 desks so they have one each. Bro is good at looking for a drawer slide size that can match the table.
I'm so excited for them and can't wait for their renovated house as it can give them more space. The only thing that bothers me right now is the dust. I have to clean every time but that is ok. Bro and his family have transferred to our other place temporarily.
