We Shopped 'till We Dropped!!

It was last Friday and Sunday when my teenage niece and I went for shopping in Megamall, Robinsons and Greenhills Shoppign Centers. Her vacation here in the country is about to end and before she leaves on Wednesday for Sydney, she wanted to buy new clothes, bag shoes and more that she can bring there.

So off we went to Megamall and Robinsons last Friday and our eyes lit up we are so giddy to shop for goods. Of course it’s enjoyable if you have the money to spend so it was a shopping spree. My niece has been buying lots of shoes and blouses off the rack and oh dear I can’t help myself buying myself too.

It was like we have no more tomorrow, when she find something nice she’ll fit it and buy it right away. Good thing is that these days all of the cashiers at the malls have a good POS system (point of sale) so our transaction is done in a swift manner.

Our shopping didn’t end there; we went to Megamall and Greenhills on Sunday to shop once again. With tons of items that we bought, I hope she will not have an excess luggage or else she needs to leave some items behind. I was arranging her luggage last night and I’m keeping my fingers about the weight. Hope PAL is not that too strict.

Giving Myself some Birthday Gifts

I had lots of fun shopping alone last Nov. 6 because I was able to buy lots of things for myself since it's my birthday on Monday (16th) yahooo!! I love bags so I end up purchasing 3 bags. I just love the Nine West bag that I will be using when I go out to church malls etc and the other 2 will be an everyday bag when I go to my store.

I really saved up for these eventhough it was not complete, I still have to buy a wedge shoes. Yearly I treat myself with gifts. Last year I gave myself a Canon 18-200mm lens and a 6million Crumpler bag and this year no camera gadget for a while although I bought a lens blower to keep the dirt away.

I still want to shop and I'm itching once again!!! I love when birthday comes!

Jazzing Up Our Homes

Now that holidays are slowly sipping in, I can’t erase the thoughts about our HK Disneyland travel in December, more Christmas shopping and of course home improvement. I don’t know about you but during December and before the new year starts, we gotta have a home improvement of sort in our house. It doesn’t have to be expensive and a major one though.

My Birthday is Coming Soon…..

Every time “ber” months arrive, it always reminds me of my forthcoming birthday in November. Like many of you, I am definitely looking forward to that eventhough that means another year will be added to my age. It may not be a secret to you all that I’m in my very early 40’s already and how’d I wish I can turn back the clock in my mid 20’s.

So what do I want for my birthday? First of course is I am praying for a good health. I think I’m still healthy despite my frequent bouts with dyspepsia and my aching varicose veins. I have not been hospitalized for any aliments yet and still wishing I will not still. I also want to reward myself (shopping) like I always do yearly. 2 years ago I gave myself a DLSR, last year was a long lens and this year I am still thinking about it.

My friends have been shopping online endlessly so I guess I can also use the fossil coupons as I love Fossil’s watches. I’ve been looking around at overstock.com and I know I’ll get more deal when I use their overstock coupon codes as well. You know coupons are always great when it comes to shopping online and I know it’ll be perfect to get more deals. Ahhh I can’t wait for my birthday.

Sale Here and Everywhere

Today is Sunday and here I am stuck in front of my pc. I should be out at the mall because there are 3day sale everywhere but I opted to stay here at my shop to finish some tasks. How's I wish I was out shopping but I don't feel like it. SM and Robinson's are having sale! till Monday.

I also don't want to splurge or just shop just for the sake of shopping esp. on SALE but I am actually saving. My birthday is coming (whoooo!) so I need to have money in my pocket. You know if it's your birthday, you can't avoid spending or treating your family on a nice lunch or dinner. I also wanted to give myself a gift since it's been my yearly tradition hehehe.

Aside from that, Our HK trip will be coming soon so I need shopping pocket money. Ahhh I can't wait for that. In the meantime, I need to keep on going, work harder and save as much as I can since Christmas is coming as well. That means more expenses. Yay!

Can I Have These Please?

My birthday is coming in few months time and every year I see to it that I will give myself a gift. Two years ago, I rewarded myself a Canon 400d DSLR and oh boy I was hooked into digital photography since then. Last year, I gave myself a watch and a Canon 18-200mm f5.6 IS lens and oh yeah I’m pretty generous with myself.

Anyways, I’m still thinking what to give myself this year and I was thinking of the jewelries I saw at Holsted jewelers that I came across. My eyes are feasting with all the jewelries that they have from bracelets, rings to necklaces and more. Here is what I found, if anyone is generous enough to give me these, you’re all most welcome. Little Cute Dress For Reign

I was recently been fond of my 6 yr.-old niece for she is becoming more cheeky (not in a bad way) and as a child growing up, she asks more questions than ever. If you answer it, another question will pop in her mind and that goes on and on. It’s not annoying because we can see that her mind is really full of curiosity about anything and that is good on her development. Anyway, been taking photos of her almost everyday since I promised that I will be making her a photo book that I have done for my other niece. She is quite excited about it.

Anyway, her mom is even buying her stuff lately like a nice pink dress and matching Hello Kitty shoes. I told my niece that we’ll be buying more especially if she’ll be good. I did my surfing online as usual and found some nice stuff for kids at Style Hive. Love this dress and I know Reign will look good on it. I think I need to find shoes that will go well with this blue dress.

I will not wonder anymore why parents especially moms have a knock on buying stuff for their kids, ahhhhhh how’d I wish I have my own little me for I know I will do the same.

Let's Do our Share to Save Our Mother Earth

There has been a major clamor about saving the Mother Earth from further destruction. We all know and have heard about climate change, green house effect and other alterations on the Earth that we are living in. I had my little share by collecting all my empty plastic containers and giving it to the garbage men so that they can sell it and have it recycled.

Gov’t. and non-gov’t. organizations are also very aggressive in promoting various environment friendly activities. I have also noticed that a lot of our malls are already encouraging shoppers to use environment friendly bags when shopping. Green shopping is in for environment friendly products that are not too harmful to our Mother Earth. Let’s all give our share bec. we only have one place to live in.

My Bedroom Needs a Lift

Arghhh.. I woke up this morning with a backache and I am assuming that I had a bad position while sleeping again. I have been having problems about my bed and my pillows and it seems that I have not found the perfect cushions for it. Dang, I really need to find a way to lessen the chances of my back problem.

That led me to look for nice bedroom stuff that I can actually can take note of. I was glued at StyleHive.com and saw really nice bits and pieces. I even saw these pillows that look trendy and functional as well. I might need to upgrade what I have in my bedroom and perhaps in our living room too. Crazy for Jewelries

Ahhh I should be in Greenhills last Sunday but failed to go there last weekend bec. I am not feeling well but I’ll find time next week to do so. That place always reminds me of shopping since that is the place where you see lots of tiangge (small stalls) to find a lot of stuff. Actually I find it remarkable to see women ganging up on the jewelry area to purchase pearls and other jewelries.

I always thought that if you have no time going there, the net will always be the savior bec. I saw lots of costume jewelry at Holsted Jewelers. In fact when you go to their site, you’ll end up wanting lots of items that you want to get hold of. Just take a look at this pearl stand watch, I guess it's not bad to want this, right?

Missed Shopping

I really planned of going shopping last Sunday but my laziness mode struck once again so I wasn't able to go out. I am not feeling well that day too , as usual feeling bloated and overstuffed got in the way so I postponed my shopping. Actually I should be shopping for a brand new external hard drive since my computer space is almost full already. Oh well I hope I can shop next week again bec. I badly needed the external HD.

What am I waiting for?.... Hehe I'm actually looking forward at the annual midnight sale of Robinson's Galleria and other department stores. It's actually a long wait from now since they are having the big sale before Halloween hehe and that means I still have the time to save more money before I can see the barcode scanner checkin' on my items. I was kinda in a "saving mode" these days bec. I have so many stuff that I wanted to buy this year.

Local Movie Date

Hello everyone, it's been a busy new year for me here at my side and I guess that is a good thing to start the whole brand new year. Been busy with so many stuff that I rarely have time to blog and put updates here, sorry for that.

Anyway, last JAn, 2, my niece Kath and I went on a movie date at galleria and we watched a local movie that is included in the Manila Film Fest and it was "Tanging Ina Nyong Lahat and I was soooooo very disappointed bec. it was not good, to say it was corny.. hahah. I thought I will be laughing hard in the cinema but yay no (though there are few times that I chuckled). Yay, we should have seen a different movie, it was a waste of money.

After the movie we strolled the mall and there were lots of items still on sale,those were the items that were not sold during the holidays. Clothes, toys and even office furniture have sale signs but not many shoppers are there bec. holidays was just barely over. I am pretty sure their sales will pick up again in the next quarter of the year.

Last Wed. my bestfriend RACE and I went at Quaipo to buy a new digital camera. Race bought a point and shoot camera (forgot the model yay!) and it was only P7K, 7.1 MP, with free 2GB memory card and battery and charger. It's already a good price. Later on I decide to take my friend at Fans Digital just to show the camera bag that I saw. She later bought a small Kani bag suited for her needs.

Afterwards we went to Divisoria, had lunch at Max's resto coz it's also her birthday on the 21st. Happy Birthday Bes! MORE PHOTOS HERE

Beating the Christmas Rush

Yay, I've finally finished my Christmas shopping!! I've been to a lot of malls actually Robinson's, SM, Greenhills Shopping Center and 168 shopping mall for the last couple of days just to hunt down the items that i wanted to give to my loved ones and of course to my dear self.

I love shopping and enjoyed it the most if i have lots to spend haha although it is sometimes tiring. I know I have not saved and wasted some time along my shopping habits but what the heck it's Christmas anyway. Last week, up to now and for sure this weekend, malls will be full with shoppers who are trying to beat the holiday rush.

Just this morning, I was at a nearby mall to run errands for my sister and shoppers are really everywhere buying gifts or just roaming around the mall. One thing I noticed is that lots of people are at the electronics shops and household areas. Probably they are looking for some TV, cellphones, ipods or even TV wall mount for their homes. I myself bought some new plastic wares where I can put our pork or fish to be frozen at the chiller and next year i plan to buy a laptop!! wahoo

If you have not finish your shopping yet, i recommend you to finish it now or else you'll be burnt out hehe. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

:Baby Boom/ Maternity Chit chats at Bebot’s Forum

It was Juz who started the Baby boom in our forum (di-scrappers) over a year ago and would you believe after she sprinkled the baby dust many of the my co-scrappers got pregnant over the year.? We all got excited over it and very happy for our co-scrappers who got pregnant as well. Me being single and still have no plans of having a baby just got contented of wishing that someday I can also experience this magical moment that every woman aspire and hope for.

Not all women have good and easy pregnancy though, that some are just advised by their OB’s to be bed ridden. I even had friends who lost their babies while conceiving and this is a major heartbreak for them. Anyway, we have 1 member in the forum (Mich) who just gave birth recently to a baby girl and 2 members (Kaje and Che) who are still pregnant at the moment. Isn’t it co-incidence that they conceive almost simultaneously?

Like many would say when a woman is pregnant they should always feel beautiful even though a times they feel they are not. I reckon they should need to wear Trendy Maternity Clothes to jazz up their maternity style. I found this nice trendy Ingrid and Isabel maternity tank that looks so comfortable. Pregnant woman need not to wear lousy and so loose clothes like what preggy mommies wear in the 80’s lol.

And for a more hip you, just take a look at this Juicy Maternity with soft fabrics where moms can dress up stylish. I have to suggest these to Kaje and Che and I am sure they will love them. Ahhh I wish someday, I can dress up something like this.

Oopps, I almost forgot to share this here. FYI, I am now a proud owner of a new Crumpler Camera Bag and what I got was a 6 Million Dollar one. Actually when I saw it, i never let it go, the good thing is that i had my camera that time so I was able to see how it will look like once it is inside of the bag.

Been thinking about Tracy Joy bag too but I have to order it online and it will take weeks for the shipping since it will come from the US so I kinda set aside that bag eventhough it is nice as well. Oh well, you know what I also thought of buying a much cheaper one the Kani bag but i thought that the paddings and the quality are not as good as the Lowepro or TJ or crumpler bags.
