Goodbye Haloscan Comment Form! How to Remove Haloscan codes on your blog

Geezzz... that made me dizzy for a while! Here's what I did on How to Remove Haloscan codes on your blog.

Been using Haloscan for years now but decided to remove it from my blog now bec. Haloscan comment form is not allowing my blog readers from commenting and me not being able to get into my dashboard to see my moderated comments since December. They are upgrading and wanted me to upgrade to Echo for a fee for one year but that is just insane. Why would I pay for a comment form when I can get it for free using the old blogger comment form. yay!

So I Googled on how to remove haloscan codes here in my blog and return to the old blogger comment form. It took me a while to finally found the solution but is just easy. Here's what I did

1. Go to: "Settings"

2. click on: "Layout"

3. click on: "edit HTML"

4. at the bottom links select: "Revert widget templates to default" - doing this you'll lose all your haloscan comment :(

Bad sadly all my HALOscan comments disappeared :( but that is OK! at least my comment form is back, Blogger that is!

Still Lazy

Oh dear out HK trip is done and Christmas as well but here I am still feeling lazy to work and concentrate on my store. I know it's because I have my sister and her family with us who is on holiday from Sydney and I sometimes babysit their kids. New Year is also coming in 2 more days so I'm still on holiday mode. I've got to help bro as well in looking for this Mopar performance parts online and do some more other offline stuff.

I hope you'll all have a great New Year!! Expect lots of photos and stories from me next year when I'm back into my regular blogging mode.

How Many Hands do I have Right now?

I know you already know that I do monetize my blogs and I have been doing this since 2007. It helped me a lot with my bills and all and I’m so grateful for that. I have quite a handful of blogs on my sleeves that I need take to care and update once in a while and I can tell ya that it’s a lot of work especially if you want to be it updated and still informative blog despite having some sponsored one.

If I got some time, I do some blog hopping, creating posts that is search engine friendly but I have not signed up for a free directory list. I might look into this one time if my work load is that the hectic. I’m juggling my offline and online works in my hands and I do think I’m doing pretty well on it. I think I have 10 hands right now hehe, what about you?

Hooray my Blog is Back!!

After being upset and worried since this morning because this blog suddenly disappeared and having the Google 404 Error not found message, it's back now. I was an inch away of getting furious over this and I was literally seeking help from online friends to help me on this dilemma. I also searched online for possible solution but finally an angel helped me out.

My online friend TERE, whose husband is a techie one, even talked to me via YM just to help me out. We tweaked some few changes on the DNS settings this afternoon hoping that it will solve the problem. He said that I will have to wait for about 6 or 7 hours for the changes to effect but it took only about 1 1/2 hours and my blog is back. Gosh I was really so relieved. I'm not sure what to do if my blog will not be back. A big thanks to CHARLES for helping me out. God bless you!

Now, I'm back blogging (keeping my fingers crossed). If for sometime my blog is not accessible probably it may due to to my DNS updating.

Things That I Enjoy Doing

Wow it’s a brand new week once again and only less than a month it’s gonna be my birthday once again. Now I’m giving you all a hint..lol. Eventhough, I hate the number in my age, I am still grateful for it. Every morning when I wake up, I can’t help but to be thankful that I’m still alive and will able to experience more beautiful things to come, eventhough there are time I feel a bit lonely.

Anyway, before I have you in tears, I just want to share some of the things that I enjoy doing.
1. Photography, grew on me ever since camera is around already. I love capturing moments and keeping them. Digital Scrapbooking, goes well with my passion for photos bec. I get to scrap them beautifully and made it into a photobook.

2. Blogging, started in way back in January of 2005 at a different blog format while this blog is my very 1st domain named blog that I set up back in January of 2007. Been so many years of sharing, posting my experiences, ideas, photos, wants, and occasionally my rants. I love every time I made a post but of course there are times when I don’t feel like sharing. I even had the chance to look for the best asp web hosting for my ever growing blogs.

3. Twittering, been twittering for almost a year now and loving it as well. I’m even following some celebs that can give some inspirations or some fun to keep me company.

Extremely Busy

Just thought I don't want to miss this rare day of 09-09-09, not quite sure if it's really a lucky day but for sure this is rare one when you think about it. I even asked my mom to have a photo whit me which I have posted on my other blog. I also heard that many tried to get married on this day for they believe it will bring them luck hehe.

These days I have been enjoying all of the blogs especially the domain ones that i have created over the years. I’ve been blogging since 2005 from a free hosting blog format back then and just shifted or bought a domain of my own (this blog) on Jan. of 2007. Multi Tasking and Staying Late

Wow I can't believe I am still awake at this time! It's almost 1:00 am not and my eyes are still wide open. Must be because I had coffee after my late dinner. I am also finishing some tasks because I don;t want to be swamped and let it expire for I will not allow that.

Talk about multitasking, I am making blog posts then on the side I am editing a photo and then my friend is chatting with me also hahaha while my TV is still on. I'm stopping once in while to rest my eyes and actually had finished watching a local TV show "I survived" at channel 2. How I wish I have a bell tv receiver where I can watch in style and with high definition.

I'm not sure what time will I sleep but I hope it'll be a good one. Ok i'm off now

I guess you might have noticed that I’ve been maintaining quite a few blogs of my own. It all started in 2005 out of curiosity and after seeing one from an online friend. I first started blogging at a free hosting blog which is a bravejournal and later on acquiring domains of my own. It was a fun filled journey as I get to share all my thoughts from experiences, hobbies, shopping, photography and lots more. I have to remind you it’s not easy to update all of them from time to time as it requires time and dedication but I love what I am doing so I am keeping all of them.

I have some blogs who have their own hosting and actually it’s not easy to think and to know which one to get. There are practically hundreds of webhosting company online that are offering different plans and you need to know which one will suit your hosting needs. I believe that your web hosts provider should provide your site full support and good service. If your site is down all the time then chances are your readers and your clients (if you are into e-commerce) will just be disappointed and will not even return. Do some research online and read reviews on what webhosting company should you apply for.

Coffee Dear

What would be a perfect partner this midnight while trying to whip up posts for this blog than this hot and perfect blend coffee that I made. It sure tastes delicious as it is made of decaffeinated coffee and with just evaporated milk. I know this will keep me awake perhaps for more couple of hours and that is enough to finish some of my works.

You know I don;t want to cram tomorrow so I better do more work tonight (oh its past midnight already!) until my eyes are still wide awake due to the burst of caffeine in my system. Keep me company for a while and sip coffee as well

My Hands Are Full

Oh dear.. can I have at least more hours in a day??

I dunno but lately my days have been pretty much busy with all the things that I am doing online and offline and how I wish I have more hours. I know I have no family nor kids yet that can fully get my attention but it seems that days are passing by so quickly in the blink of an eye.

Business wise, it's slowly picking up but when there is flood and heavy rains my customers will just opt to stay at home than going to my shop. Online works is doing great, more opportunities are coming my way so I am happy about it. I have some days that I lack sleep but that is ok because that is where I get to earn more.

EC Droppin'

Oh boy I was a bit sluggish today.. blame it on the weather which is gloomy at times then will get hot in a while. Crazy weather since yesterday. I can't blame why lot's of people are still getting sick these days.

Anyway, I found time to EC dropping today. Just in case you didn't know EC means Entrecard and that keeps me company while I was getting bored to even type few sentences of my blog. Been to a lot of blogs and I must say that some blogs are worth reading while others are not even loading. I also hope to encash my EC credits soon if I have enough credits earned.

Blessings Poured

I have been a bit disappointed lately on my online works because I have not been given lots of opportunities to make. There are times that I feel low or got envy at my friends because they have been blessed. Little did I know that blessing will pour on me this week. I have such little patience no?

I am very thankful with the blessings that I got last night and early this morning and promised that I will share it. I also need to be extra hardworking so that I can finish them on time.

Finally Had Time to Blog Hop and Drop EC

Wow, I finally had time. I've been busy updating my other blogs lately that I had little time to blog hop and return EC drops. Thank you very much to all those that are keep coming back to read my posts if not just to drop (EC) Entrecards. I appreciate them all!!!! Sorry for no returning the favor lately.

I am free today so what I did was to hop, make comments and drop some EC and it's good to read other's thoughts and what they have been writing these days. I am really amazed how blogging spread through the years. I started in 2005 and hey I'm still here.

Finally Moved to Wordpress

Last Saturday was a busy day for me!!

My nephew and I started to migrate my INTUITIVE REASONING blog from Blogger to Wordpress. It was kinda easy to migrate all my posts that I have but had problems with the permanent post's URL etc. but my tech support nephew fixed it right away.

I hope it's finally fixed already because just this morning no one can't comment on my posts. My nephew is still looking for the problem because I am getting worried already..LOL

My Blog was mentioned at Phil. Daily Inquirer !

I was on my way to our EB with my co-digiscrappers/online friends when my co-scapper friend Suzanne texted me and told me that my blog was at the Phil. Daily Inquirer Friday April 17 issue bec. of my Charice Pempengco post. I was kinda shock or scared and that was my 1st initial reaction but i know I did not post any foul remarks about it so i shrugged off that idea. I even thought it was mentioned at their website but it turned out to be at their newspaper. Thanks to the writer Pocholo Concepcion for mentioning my blog.

Anyway, I was happy about that and of course didn't expect that. I hurriedly told my bro and mom to buy me a copy so that I can see and read it. 4 Years of Blogging !!

Wow, I can't believe it, I have been blogging for 4 years already!! I started blogging since Jan 7, 2005 and here is my VERY 1 ST POST at my very 1st blog at bravejournal. At 1st i thought it was so corny to make an online journal where anyone can view your posts but later on i found myself having my own blog and after a year or so i bought this domain and the rest is history. Now I have multiple blogs to keep and to update. I also gained friends from through my blog and there is even an instance where someone commented a not so nice comment and who is so coward to even put her/his link.. ol

I will continue blogging as long as I like it and as long as I am earning extra from it. 4 years is a long time and didn't thought that I will keep on doing it till now.

Trying to Earn Extra while Blogging

This month and this year, I am celebrating my 4th year in blogging and wow, never thought I’d do this up to now. It started only as curiosity when I saw an online friend made her own. At first I really thought it was too corny to make a diary on the web where anyone could read but never realized I’ll be making my own too.. lol. I gained friends slowly via my blog and it is where I can share my thoughts, ideas, photos and anything that I want to share. I also made it a point to change my blog’s theme from time to time since I am also into graphics of sort. A year of pleasurable blogging passed by and I started to buy my own domain which I thought was a great way to upgrade my blogging.

Later on a friend once told me that I can by writing reviews for companies about their services or products. I was little apprehensive at first and didn’t even believe that idea but when I saw proof that is the time that I told myself that I will give it a try. I the beginning I was just testing the waters but saw the potential of earning while blogging and still writing the things that I love. It’s like helping the advertisers to showcase their products and in return they pay me for my hardwork. I’ve found another company payingpost.com that can help advertisers and bloggers work hand in hand I this blog advertising thing. It has helped lots of bloggers to earn extra and advertisers to promote their products.

These days, we all know that almost all people and transactions are being done online so this is a great marketing strategy for the companies to work with bloggers like us. So if you are a blogger who wants to make money online using your blog, then you must try it. you’ve got to be a little patient at times and you must love blogging.

As a blogger I have learned to monetize my blog so I can earn extra from it aside from enjoying writing while sharing my experiences and many things that I know. We can’t blame anyone to look for other ways, for me this is ok as long as you are not doing anything illegal. It is best to paid blog rather than being a corrupt gov’t official. Yay!
