WORDLESS Wednesday

~A not so wordless Wednesday~

My heart goes to this old couple whom I always see selling those rugs/doormats to earn a decent living. They always pass by my store asking me to buy but i can't buy everytime esp. if I can't use all of them. They walk in the middle of the scorching sun and sometimes they could barely walk bec. the old man is already limping as he is already around 80 yrs. old. and "lola" old lady is 75.

Sometimes we just gave them something for lunch and in this case we asked them to come inside our place to have a lil rest and bro bought a pair of rugs. We asked them once why
at their age they are still selling and they answered us that they don't have other means to live. They also rather sell than to steal or beg. This made me realize that I am still so lucky and blessed.

  4. Your post about these old couple made me cry. I cannot dare to see people on the side walk trying to have a decent job and they're too old to sell those rugs. I am hoping that despite of their hardships here in the world they will get something good in return and they will bot go in heaven

  17. Ang lungkot naman. Kitang -kita mo sa mga mata nila ang pagod at lungkot. You know madali akong maawa sa mga matatanda lalo na sa mga mahihirap. :(

Reg my WW, ako yung long hair dun. Bababa lang kami for a merienda break. :)
